The Victorian Heritage Restoration Fund is a funding program for restoration and conservation works of heritage properties. The participating councils fund these works with oversight by VHRF Committee of Management, including the National Trust, the Heritage Council, Victoria and Heritage Victoria.
The VHRF is open for applications from the Melbourne City Council, Casey City Council and Greater Bendigo City Council.
The cut off dates for the rounds of funding in the 2025/2026 financial year are yet to be advised.
Each local council’s Heritage Restoration Fund have their own eligibility criteria but all applications must include a property within a Heritage Overlay, works visible from the public realm that enhance the significance and appearance of the building, must relate to conservation and restoration works, and have an associated permit or exemption from council
